However, Karelian cuisine also shares features typical of the Russian North: Nourishing pastries, fish, venison, elk meat, game, wild fruits and mushrooms.
Then a hydrofoil "Cometa" brings the group to the island of Kizhi in lake Onego. Kizhi is the gem of Karelia where the world-wide known museum of wooden architecture is placed. The group visits the historical-architectural and ethnographic outdoor museum. On coming back from the island – transfer to the hotel.
